How we compare

On a Spanish listing Airbnb charges the host, not you, so the price you see is the price you pay, here and there alike. We do not pretend to undercut anyone at checkout. We compete on what comes with the booking: up to 10% of it back as free experiences, Check-in Shield on every stay, and a cleaning fee nobody is allowed to add.

For hosts the gap is the fee itself. Our 10% is all in: no VAT on top of it, no card charges, no currency markup. A 15% headline rate elsewhere is only where the sum starts; add VAT, card fees and conversion and the real cost lands far nearer 20%.
